The 3 Fs of Swimming
Forearm-
use your forearm to hold onto the water and pull yourself forward
Full Stroke-
Keep hold of the water until your thumb reaches your thigh
Fangle-
My own portmanteau (finger angle). Make sure that your fingers are pointed slightly down as they enter the water and that your arm follows that trajectory into the water (see cover image). This angle will vary depending on shoulder flexibility-the greater the flexibility the smaller the angle.
